I once heard my friend call her mom an angry optimist. I thought this was the funniest thing in the world because boy can i relate! I’m usually pretty positive, so much so that I know I can get on people’s nerves with my sugary sweet dreampushing optimism and relentless vision boarding.
However, I don’t know about you, but once in a while people piss me off. I get angry. The type of angry that leaves me wanting to crack someone across the head or stab them in their eyeballs. I. Mean. RAGE. This happens probably at least once a month because I suffer from PMDD. (pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder). Think PMS on crack times a million. More about that in another post because there’s so much content in that alone.
Soo……. let me share a therapeutic tip. That anger is ok. It’s real. You should NOT hold on to it or stuff it because that is what will turn you into a negative angry person. Your anger just needs to fly free in a healthy way. Release that shit! This is what you need to do friends. Create a vision board for your inner angry bitch. Head on over to your Pinterest account and do a search for “fuck you” and pin away. I can guarantee you will feel better and no one will get hurt. Lalalaaaaaa. It truly is like therapy.
Assignment: That is your assignment the next time you are pissed. Create some kind of angry bitch board. A vision board for your rage. Your family will thank you.
